Kinect Jesture - Mouse and Key Control for Mac OS X

T.Nishibayashi has upload a nice little demo of some software he's crafted up in order to use natural interface - ie YOU - which enables him to control his Mac OS X. Finally a 'lil Mac love in terms of OS gesture based control. His demo is particularly impressive seeing as how it detects a hand being closed and then triggers a left click action on whatever his cursor is hovering over. The natural interface between you and the OS seems seamless as you close your hand in order to grab a window and move it around. Much more efficient then motioning forward in order to left click.

He's also able to use the Mac track pad Expose swipe multi-window display feature by holding two hands up simultaneously which is pretty damn cool. He also controls Apple Keynote by swiping through slides using simple gestures. He used OpenFrameworks and ofxKinect to put it all together.

Know what else is pretty cool about all of this? He's released his source on GitHub! Hooray! We can all try this one out for a change!
